Cline Mining out of Canada will be reopening the Jansen, CO, rail line to the old Maxwell and Allen mines (which are to be renamed New Elk Mines) in about a year to mine the metallurgical coal instead of trucking it to where ever it needs to go.

The rail line used to be owned by the Colorado and Wyoming Railroad, (which was owned by CF&I foundry in Pueblo).
